ACCA

Action Child Cancer Africa

Africa Child Cancer Africa (ACCA) is dedicated to enhancing childhood cancer care throughout the continent. By addressing the critical challenges that contribute to low rates, we offer hope, healing, and comprehensive care to children and families impacted by cancer. To maintain support while ACCA finalizes its charitable registration, we have established a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Projects Abroad Foundation and another with IMPACT Projects Abroad, their NGO in Ghana. During this time, all donations made to Projects Foundation and IMPACT Projects Abroad Ghana will directly benefit ACCA’s initiatives, allowing us to continue our essential work.

Offer comprehensive support services that promote holistic healing for children and their families.

Train and empower healthcare professionals to raise the standard of care across Ghana.

Advocate for improved policies and collaborate with international partners to align childhood cancer care with global standards.

Vision

To be a beacon of hope and excellence in paediatric oncology, transforming the landscape of childhood cancer care in Africa and empowering children to thrive beyond cancer.

By 2027, ACCA is committed to completing the Pediatric Oncology West Africa Centre of Excellence at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi, Ghana. This state-of-the-art facility will offer high-quality cancer care, specialized training, and pioneering research tailored to the unique needs of children in West Africa.

By 2030, ACCA will establish satellite treatment programs across rural areas in Ghana, addressing disparities in access and ensuring high-quality care reaches underserved communities.
