Lady Janet Boateng
Lady Janet Boateng is the founder of Action Child Cancer Africa (ACCA), a charity dedicated to transforming the lives of children in Africa affected by cancer. With decades of experience in social work and international advocacy, her mission is rooted in compassion, dignity, and urgent action for health equity.
Her work has spanned both national and international platforms, including her years supporting diplomatic and humanitarian efforts alongside her husband, Lord Paul Boateng a former UK Cabinet Minister and High Commissioner to South Africa. Lady Boateng’s unwavering commitment to justice and care continues to inspire a new generation of leadership rooted in service, integrity, and transformative action.

The Right Honourable, Lord Boateng
Commander of Royal Victorian Order (CVO)

The Right Honourable Lord Boateng is a distinguished British barrister, politician, and diplomat, widely recognised for his lifelong commitment to public service, social justice, and international development. In 1987, he made history as the United Kingdom’s first Black Cabinet Minister, serving as Chief Secretary to the Treasury under Prime Minister Tony Blair.
He later served as British High Commissioner to South Africa (2005–2009), where he played a pivotal role in strengthening diplomatic and economic relations between the UK and post-apartheid South Africa. As a life peer in the House of Lords, Lord Boateng continues to advocate for human rights, education, and inclusive global progress.
He currently chairs the Africa Enterprise Challenge Fund (AECF) and the Church of England’s Archbishops’ Commission on Racial Justice. In addition, as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the King’s Commonwealth Society, he leads efforts to promote youth empowerment, education, and intercultural collaboration across the 56 member nations of the Commonwealth.

Dr. Vivian Paintsil is a distinguished paediatric oncologist and senior lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). As the Head of Paediatric Oncology at KATH, she leads a dedicated team in diagnosing and treating childhood cancers, with a focus on early detection and comprehensive care.
Her research interests include sickle cell disease and haemophilia, areas in which she advocates for greater awareness and improved care. Dr. Paintsil's commitment to paediatric oncology extends beyond clinical practice, contributing to education and policy development to advance childhood cancer care in Ghana.
Professor Barry Pizer is a leading Consultant Paediatric Oncologist with internationally recognised expertise in childhood brain tumours. He has worked at the world-renowned Great Ormond Street Hospital in London and continues to serve as a senior NHS doctor, contributing to the advancement of paediatric neuro-oncology across the UK. With decades of experience, Professor Pizer is known for his commitment to clinical excellence, research innovation, and compassionate care. His work has significantly shaped the treatment landscape for children with brain tumours, both within the NHS & through collaborative research on a global scale.

Dr Grace Moshi
Senior Consultant Haematologist
Dr. Grace Moshi is a Senior Consultant Haematologist and United Nations medical doctor with a distinguished record in global health and humanitarian care. Affiliated with KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Singapore, she brings international expertise to the treatment of complex blood disorders, with a focus on women’s and paediatric haematology. Known for her compassionate, evidence-based approach, Dr. Moshi has delivered critical care in crisis zones and underserved communities worldwide. Her work reflects a deep commitment to health equity, ethical care, and advancing medical access on a global scale.

Mr. Steven N. Lackey is a public affairs advisor and hedge fund manager, founder of Vival Capital Management. A key Republican fundraiser, he’s known for mobilizing African-American conservative donors and organizing major GOP events.
Beyond politics, Mr. Lackey has donated over $10 million to charities focused on children’s healthcare. In 2010, he founded the Adults Getting Educated (AGE) nonprofit, which runs the 'Coming of AGE Scholarship' supporting college students who earned their GED.
